You take time to blow dry and style your hair, put your hair up in a perfect ponytail or a cute up-style and then you look in the mirror just to see all the flyaway hairs.  Nothing is more frustrating than trying to get those hairs to stay down. I am right there with you and I have 2 quick tricks that might help you out.

First, try taking an old toothbrush and lightly spraying hairspray on the toothbrush and also the area that you want to calm down. You wait a second or two and then sweep the toothbrush over the area in the direction that you want the hair to lay. The reason you wait a second before sweeping the toothbrush over the hair is so that the hairspray can start drying a bit. That is when the hairspray starts getting a little tacky so that way the flyaway hairs can stick and stay down.

Second, after blowing dry your hair and whether you leave it down or put it up, take a blush brush a lightly spritz the tip of  it with water. Go over the area that you want controlled and sweep the blush brush in the direction you want the flyaway hairs to lay. After doing that, dry off the blush brush and spray the blush brush with hairspray and also lightly spray over the area to be controlled. Wait a second or two and then sweep the blush brush in the same direction that you want the hair to lay down.

I hope those 2 tips for flyaway hairs help you when styling your hair. It helps my frustration level when styling my own hair and when I’m happy, the people around me are happy:)
